Have you ever watched a video of yourself presenting and thought, “Oh, that’s WEIRD! I didn’t realize I did that?”

That’s how I felt years ago when I watched a video of myself presenting to a small group.

Not once. Not twice. But THREE times, I hitched up my pants. It wasn’t because I was acting out the part of some country hick character. No. I had simply lost some weight and had forgotten to wear a belt.

If I hadn’t watched the video, I would have been completely unaware.

So, that’s the first tip: video your presentations (and, of course, WATCH them)

Whether you are aware of it or not, your body language can speak volumes– in person or online.
