Is there anything AI can’t do?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated the picture at the top, with the prompt, “A cute dog speaking at a conference, digital art.”

AI even helped me write this article, in which I give you 4 easy ways that AI can improve your presentations and public speaking skills.

The 4 ways AI can help you with your presentations:

#1 Streamline Your Research and Content Creation

#2 Design Professional Slides in Minutes

#3 Create Free, Unique Images

#4 Get Feedback: AI-Powered Communication Coaching

Let’s look at each one.

#1 Streamline Your Research and Content Creation

You can use AI tools like ChatGPT from OpenAI to brainstorm, write, and provide resources to cite.

For example, I wrote this prompt in ChatGPT:

Write a 5-point article on using AI to improve presentations, including the following points: 1. Research, 2. Content Creation, 3. Free, unique images, 4. Designing PowerPoint Slides, and 5. AI-Powered Communication Coaching. Also, cite 3-5 resources.

This was the result, generated in seconds:

Research: The first step in using AI to improve presentations is to research the available AI tools that can help you create more engaging and effective presentations. Some popular AI tools for presentations include Canva, Prezi, and Adobe Spark.

Content Creation: Once you have selected the AI tool that best fits your needs, the next step is to use it to create your presentation content. AI tools can help you create professional-looking slides and graphics, add animations, and more.

Free, Unique Images: Another way to improve your presentation with AI is to use free, unique images. There are a number of AI-powered image search engines, such as Unsplash, that can help you find the perfect image to complement your presentation content.

Designing PowerPoint Slides: AI tools can also help you design more visually appealing PowerPoint slides. Some AI tools, such as Slidebean, can even help you create slides in just a few minutes by using AI to generate slide templates based on your presentation content.

AI-Powered Communication Coaching: Finally, you can use AI to help you improve your presentation delivery. AI-powered communication coaching tools, such as Lumen5, can help you improve your public speaking skills by analyzing your presentation style and providing feedback on areas where you can improve.

#3 Create Free, Unique Images

As with all things AI, there are many options. I’m just getting started, so I tried just one: DALL-E.

Blog: Using DALL-E

You can watch me try it (3:40) using 3 different prompts (below).

Prompt #1: A color photo of a confident, smiling, young adult, black female speaker in business casual attire presenting in a Zoom meeting

Prompt #2: uploaded a picture of my husband and me (yikes!)

Prompt #3: An oil painting of the earth from space, with the sun rising behind the earth, in the style of Vincent van Goghhttps://www.linkedin.com/embeds/publishingEmbed.html?articleId=8561318626347027973&li_theme=dark
